XSET is one of the most prominent esports organizations in North America. That's why many were delighted to learn of its intention to expand its operations by creating female teams that will compete in Fortnite and Counter-Strike.
As reported by EsportsInsider, XSET has plans to expand its teams. Therefore, they will commence a trial phase to find female players who can represent them in the competitive scene of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The selection process will allow both professionals and fans to compete in a series of elimination rounds. There, XSET scouts will seek out the most promising talent and sign them to form their new team. Once they do that, XSET will return to competition with a female CS:GO team.
"We are excited to enter a game that has demonstrated incredible popularity over the last decade, consistently maintaining its position at the top of the esports world," said Jacob Arce, Head of Esports at XSET.
But that's not all! XSET wants to fully support the female esports scene. That's why they are also preparing a female team to participate in Fortnite. However, their plans for the Battle Royale are not yet known, so we will have to wait a bit.
