Is Bethesda Failing? Redfall Has Less Than 10 Players on Steam
By Mardokeo Galván onThe outlook doesn't seem encouraging for the vampire title with Starfield on the horizon

Despite Redfall significance on Arkane's agenda, it has undeniably turned out to be a failure. The game debuted to much criticism and unfortunately failed to captivate the audience, and currently, hardly anyone is playing it, at least on Steam.
Redfall made its debut on both consoles and PC on May 2nd, but regrettably, since then, the player count has been declining, and it appears that recovery will be quite challenging.
Hardly Anyone Plays Redfall on Steam
We say this judging by the alarming data provided by SteamDB. According to the graph of active players, Redfall recently recorded fewer than 10 concurrent players, precisely 9 on August 28th. At its peak time of day, Redfall can reach up to 60 simultaneous players.
It's worth noting that Redfall was never a popular game on Steam, as its highest player count was 6124 users.

Furthermore, it's important to mention that Steam and the Epic Games Store are the only platforms where Redfall is not "free" if you have Xbox Game Pass. That being said, the active player count of Redfall is likely higher on Xbox consoles or the Windows version (Microsoft Store).
Regardless, it's evident that Redfall has failed. The game is barely reaching its first 4 months on the market, so these figures should be concerning for both players and Bethesda. The situation doesn't seem to be improving, considering Bethesda is about to release its next big game, Starfield, which will likely further diminish Redfall's player base.
