It seems that Apex Legends will change the end-of-season rewards for ranked matches, but not everyone is happy
By Pedro Pérez Cesari onA leak suggests that players might soon be very pleased with the changes

Apex Legends is an immensely popular game, but it's a reality that it also has its issues. Fortunately, Respawn Entertainment is one of those developers that listens to its fans, and new information indicates that they heard them on something important. Unfortunately, not everyone is thrilled about it.
For quite some time, the Apex Legends community has been vocally requesting different end-of-season rewards for ranked matches. According to a new leak on the Apex Unncovered subreddit, which focuses on sharing unofficial Apex Legends information, popular dataminer Osvaldatore revealed that the upcoming ranked rewards will remove the Skydive Trails and instead offer them in the in-game store. In their place, players will receive an ADS sight whose design will depend on the rank they achieve.
Sadly, the change wasn't what the community expected. Many believe that a reward that only the player can see lacks meaning, as the ideal with such rewards is to be able to showcase your competitive achievements.
That being said, it's good to see that Respawn Entertainment is still working and experimenting with different rewards. Hopefully, they can continue to do so and find a point where the vast majority of the community can be content.
