Surprise! While many players weren’t convinced with the final game nor the latest expansion released back on February this year, seems like Ubisoft is pretty confident about Far Cry 6 performance and is planning to release a definitive edition with additional content, you know… a Game of the Year Edition.

According to Twitter user and well-known leak specialist @ALumia_Italia, the company will release their GOTY edition, after it appeared in the database of the Xbox store. The information cites a version with more content including an expansion and a season pass.

So far, is known that this GOTY edition of Far Cry 6 will be available in all digital stores sadly without an unknown price or release date. On the other hand, it has caught our attention that the new content could be released separately and you can buy either de expansion or the season pass separately in case you already own the base game.

We only can assume that this was decided in order to give Far Cry 6 another shot and try to convince players as we all know that the GOTY edition formula has been used in the past in order to re-convince users.

Some replies theorized that maybe, Ubisoft has more up its sleeve and the official announcement of this new content is just a few weeks away… maybe the company will finally make it and will make this expansion the best of the year.

While this happens, share with us your thoughts on Far Cry 6… it did live up to your expectations?
