Mei has been removed from Overwatch 2 temporarily
By Frida Salazar onYeah, there were issues… but you will be able to play with her again

Overwatch 2 is at it again, all the weekend players have been reporting an issue with Mei, as her ability “Ice Wall” have allowed heroes to reach locations that they are not supposed to access. However, it wasn’t until today that Blizzard addressed the problem.
They announced that from here until November 15 you are not going to be able to use Mei as they will work on solving this and more issues present in the game. You may be wondering, why we need to wait until mid-November to play with her, well the bug is planned to be fixed until the next patch.
Sadly this is not the first Overwatch 2 hero to be put on timeout, Mei is the third character to be removed due to a bug, since its eventful launch. Back in October, Bastion and Torbjorn were removed for two weeks, between October 11 and 25 as they were error-infested.

As expected, Blizzard's official subReddit was flooded with criticism, pointing out how absurd the situation is as the bug is fairly harmless and it doesn’t really affect the game or give an advantage in the match.
Actually, some players took advantage of it and started to explore the maps and find interesting details that no one have seen before. Oh well, now we have to wait for two weeks.
