MultiVersus: Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith, from Friday the 13th and The Matrix, will fight in the title

The return of MultiVersus is just around the corner, so Player First Games and Warner Bros. decided to kick off the week with a major announcement about the combat title. This morning, they released a new gameplay trailer to reveal 2 new playable characters.
The announcement has fans of 2 prominent franchises especially excited, as important characters from the series will be joining the roster. We are referring to Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith, from Friday the 13th and The Matrix, respectively.
MultiVersus confirms characters from Friday the 13th and The Matrix
Through a press release, the companies reminded players that Multiversus will make its long-awaited return on May 28. They also confirmed 3 new characters that will be available as part of Season 1, called Puns & Villainy.
The first of them is the Joker, who was announced a few days ago to the excitement of DC and Batman fans. Now, the companies indulged Friday the 13th and The Matrix lovers, as they confirmed that Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith will also be playable characters.
Jason will be available in the roster on May 28, so players will be able to get to know his abilities on release day. On the other hand, Agent Smith will arrive on a yet to be confirmed date in Season 1. It is likely that in the future we will have previews focused on these 2 new members of the roster.
The title features an attractive roster of characters made up of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Black Adam, Joker, Shaggy, Velma, Bugs Bunny, Taz, Marvin, Arya Stark, Tom and Jerry, Finn, Jake, Steven Universe, Garnet, the Iron Giant, LeBron James, among others.
