Surprise! one of the best Horror-RPGs of 2020 arrived today on Xbox Gamepass. Without any warning or earlier announcement, OMORI the indie game inspired by EarthBound and Undertale showed up.
Actually, it was pretty unexpected as OMORI’s port to Xbox was confirmed just a couple of days ago. Either way, this means that if you are a fan of psychological horror, you have the opportunity to download and enjoy it on Xbox X|S Series, Xbox One, PC and the cloud.
Wait… what is OMORI about?
In this game, you will control a hikikomori boy named Sunny and his dream world alter-ego Omori. They explore both the real world and a surreal dream world to overcome their fears and secrets. All their interactions depend on you and not only will determine your fate… it may affect the fate of others as well, resulting in one of several endings.
Before you think is easy, let us tell you that the story heavily uses concepts of anxiety, depression and trauma mixed with colourful and vibrant imagery so yeah… you can expect a lot.
