Overwatch 2 made history and now is the lowest-rated game on Steam
By Ulises Contreras onBlizzard's free-to-play game faced criticism and negative reviews

Nearly a year after its launch, Overwatch 2 is facing challenging times. While it is still very popular and gathers thousands of players every day, it's clear that a portion of the community is dissatisfied with some decisions made by the developers and the overall state of the project. This discontent is evident on the Valve platform.
Activision Blizzard's free hero shooter arrived on Steam this week. Although it had a solid debut with over 75,000 concurrent players, the reception from the community was poor and this was reflected in extremely negative ratings. Unfortunately, the streak of bad luck continues.
OVERWATCH 2 IS NOW THE WORST-RATED GAME OF ALL TIME ON STEAM
Overwatch 2 has garnered over 102,572 reviews on the Valve platform. Interestingly, only 9,558 are positive, which means that 89% are negative. "It was a big mistake to come to Steam. Now, the entire community will criticize your game in the right way for everyone to see," reads one of the most upvoted criticisms.
Blizzard's free game has set a negative record and has made history in the worst possible way. According to the Steam250 Hall of Shame, it is now the lowest-rated game on the platform. "Welcome to Steam. Here are all the honest reviews," wrote one individual.

Players criticize the free-to-play model, excessive microtransactions, the absence of the PvE campaign that the developers promised in 2019, the new story missions, balance issues, and more. Of course, there are also those who have joined in review bombing to troll and only criticize the game to say that Team Fortress 2 is better.
Overwatch 2 arrived on Steam on August 10th. Its debut coincided with the launch of Season 6: Invasion, which introduced a lot of new content.
But tell us, do you think the platform users are exaggerating? Do you believe the game deserves so much criticism? Let us know in the comments.
