It's time to update your console once again, as Sony released a new update for its hardware this morning. This is update 24.07-10.20.00, which is now available for download on PS5 and PS5 Slim. Below, we'll tell you what new features it includes.
What does the 24.07-10.20.00 update for PS5 include?

To download the new update for PS5, you'll need 1.3 GB of free space on your console. According to the official notes for update 24.07-10.20.00, Sony made performance and software stability adjustments for the system.
Additionally, it improved messages and ease of use on certain screens, without providing further details. These are routine adjustments that have been included in each of the console's updates so far.
As for new features, the update makes a significant adjustment to activities, as it now shows their current status. You can see if you've started or completed them through various status indicators: In Progress, Not Started, or Completed.
Sony confirmed that potential spoilers for activities will remain hidden, so you don't have to worry about ruining any surprises from your favorite games. Unfortunately, update 24.07-10.20.00 doesn't include any further new features.
