PlayStation games for PC improve their visuals and performance thanks to new technology
By Daniel Laguna onThe company's AAA titles now look better than ever on computers

There is great news for PC gamers who enjoy PlayStation games on Steam and the Epic Games Store. A new technology makes the company's standout AAA titles look even more spectacular and perform better.
This is possible thanks to AMD and its FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), whose version 3.1 includes interesting new features and is already available for some titles. Thus, players with the necessary hardware can take advantage of it to give PlayStation titles a boost.
PlayStation games now support FSR 3.1 on PC
In case you didn't know, FidelityFX Super Resolution is a scaling technology developed by AMD to improve the image quality and performance of games. It uses advanced algorithms to render titles at a lower resolution and then scale the image to a higher resolution.
FSR 3.1 is the latest and most refined version of the technology, offering better results. This new version is now available for PlayStation games on PC, which were recently updated to receive support.
We know that titles like Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden West are now compatible with the technology.
Thanks to this, the games have multiple improvements, such as a higher level of detail, new anti-aliasing options, better frame rates, and overall better performance.
FSR 3 is compatible with AMD Radeon RX 5000 Series graphics cards and later or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 Series and later, but to take full advantage of its potential, Radeon RX 6000 Series or GeForce RTX 30 Series cards are recommended.
