There's something important for PlayStation 5 users to know: Sony has just released a new update for the console. It's version 24.03-09.20.00 of the system, which arrived with interesting new features, including a useful feature that was revealed at the end of March this year. According to the official notes for update 24.03-09.20.00, PlayStation 5 received routine tweaks such as improvements to performance and overall system stability. Fortunately, this is not all, as the messaging system and usability on some screens were also improved. However, Sony did not detail which specific optimizations were made in these areas.

On the other hand, the company will now allow hiding the message “Remote Play connected” when players use this function. Previously, the message was constantly displayed no matter what, which was annoying for some users.

It can be hidden from the new Hide Remote Play Connection Status option, found under Settings > System > Remote Play. The most important addition of the update is Community Game Help, a system that will give tips and guides to get a trophy or some secret object in the compatible titles.

The interesting thing is that the same players will be able to nourish this function with videos that will be added to those already offered by the developers. This way they will be able to get out of a jam or discover how to complete a task they have struggled with. Now, how to use this feature? Just follow the steps below:

  • You can participate in Community Game Help by allowing your gameplay video to be automatically captured and added to the feature upon review
  • To opt in, go to Settings > Captures & Broadcasts > Captures > Auto Captures > Community Game Help, and then select Participate
