Sony appears to be pushing hard on PlayStation VR2; according to an exclusive report by Bloomberg, the company is reportedly planning to produce two million units by the end of the fiscal year, or March 31, 2023.
Production of the PlayStation VR2 in China appears to have begun in recent weeks, presumably in September; so far, there do not appear to be any production hiccups due to insufficient component availability, and the production chain seems to be running on time.
These are significant numbers designed to satisfy a demand that Sony expects to be very strong, thinking that PlayStation VR took eight months to reach one million units distributed since launch.
Currently, we do not know when PlayStation VR2 will be released. Sony has stated that PSVR2 will be available in 2023, but no further information has been provided. Analysts agree that the visor will see the light between February and March, with the Japanese company ideally aiming to launch with two million units distributed in stores worldwide.

There are more than 50 video games confirmed for PlayStation VR2, including: Horizon Call of the Mountain, Resident Evil Village VR, Firewall Ultra, Ghostbusters VR, No Man's Sky, Star Wars Tales from the Galaxy's EdgeEnhanced Edition, and Among Us VR.
