Just a few days after making Scorn available on PC and Xbox Series X/S, it's time for the Ebb Software guys to return to the flesh-and-blood universe of their dark-tinged adventure to roll out the first post-launch update.
Scorn's patch 1.1.8.0 is available today, Thursday, October 27, on Steam and the Epic Games Store, but it will also be available shortly on Xbox Series X/S and GOG.
What does this update bring to the game?
The notes accompanying the update describe the many interventions made by the folks at Ebb Software to make the nightmarish journey made by those who are venturing into the digital hell of Scorn on Microsoft's PC and consoles less troublesome.
Improvements include the repositioning of checkpoints and the addition of a safety check for damaged save slots. The developers then removed the Load or Exit Game options from the death screen to speed up the game's loading after each death.

In case you missed it: The PlayStation Plus Monthly games for November have been officially revealed.
Also, through the first post-launch patch, Scorn's authors fix numerous German and Spanish language localization issues, address bugs found on PC with FOV on ultrawide screens, and close gameplay flaws in interaction with certain NPCs or collisions with certain scenario elements.
