Genvid Entertainment, the studio responsible for the upcoming Silent Hill: Ascension, has confirmed that they are also working on an interactive series for Borderlands.
The interactive series is titled Borderlands EchoVision Live, and it will focus on 8 individuals who aspire to become Vault Hunters. In the series, the audience will follow this group as they embark on a guided tour of Eden-6. At first, everything appears to be safe, but the situation takes a turn when they become trapped in Greywater Junction, a place infested with bandits. What makes this interactive series unique is that the audience will have the power to decide the path the adventure takes.
"Fans will have a direct and permanent influence on the story and characters of Borderlands: EchoVision Live, an ongoing narrative experience where all members of the audience participate in making story decisions and collectively experience a shared outcome," said Genvid in a statement.
Unfortunately, Genvid Entertainment has not shared further details about Borderlands EchoVision Live. We will have to wait to find out how this project will work and what possibilities it will offer.
