Minecraft is not holding back with the new collaborations. In the latest Minecraft Now it has been revealed that the game is teaming up with SpongeBob SquarePants from Nickelodeon to bring your favourite locations and characters from Bikini Bottom.

It’s been confirmed that Mojang Studios has looked to replicate iconic locations from the show, including the houses of the main characters.

If you are wondering which characters will arrive at Minecraft, don’t worry they announced them too! You can expect to see SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, and Gary.

Ok, but what now?

This DLC will include a story in which every character is trying to have the best day ever, and you’re trying to help them. This may remind you to the Best Day Ever episode from season 4. Remember, in order to download and play this DLC you need to own the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

There is not a confirmed release date yet, however if you can't wait Mojang is also celebrating the upcoming DLC with fans. Until July 14, they want to see players’ SpongeBob Squarepants themed builds, which can be submitted by sending out a message on Twitter with their works using the #FeatureMeMinecraft hashtag.
