Square Enix is about to release Final Fantasy NFTs
By Frida Salazar onThe first of many celebrating their 25th anniversary

Yosuke Matsuda, President of Square Enix has been very vocal about his interest in everything related to NFTs and blockchain; and even though his plans were delayed for various reasons, seems like this time the company is ready to launch its first (of many) NFT.
In partnership with Enjin, the company is ready to release Final Fantasy NFTs as part of their 25th-anniversary celebration. A digital collection of cards will be released on the cross-chain network Efinity and will be available to those who purchase items from the physical collection, expected to launch in 2023.
How does this work exactly?
As we were saying, you need to buy the deluxe version of the upcoming FINAL FANTASY VII BRING ARTS Action Figure - Cloud Strife, which is available for pre-order now and includes a code to redeem an NFT version of the figurine. This figure is part of the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 presentation and part of the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII.
Of course, to get access to this digital content, first, you need to register for free on the Enjin digital wallet app then you will be able to have a "digital version of the figure", which can be viewed either on a smartphone or PC.
Last but not least, if you are interested in the physical figure, it's also available for pre-order here for $129.99 which we recommend as the physical deal is always better.
