Starfield is still several months away from being in our hands; however, a player managed to "review" it and upload his rating to Metacritic. It all happened last June 13, when user Joppsta360 somehow managed to upload his review and give a 0 to Bethesda's long-awaited game.

As you probably already know, Metacritic doesn't allow uploading reviews so many days in advance. On the other hand, it accepts player reviews only once the title is already officially available on the market. Fortunately, the site has already taken care of the matter and removed the unfortunate review.

For now, it is unclear how Joppsta360 managed to upload a review on Starfield's PC page months before its release. All indications are that it was a Metacritic error that the gamer took advantage of to criticize Bethesda and its space title.

"Bethesda - because making games that work out of the box is less important than figuring out all the ways to extract as much money from your bank account as possible," Joppsta360 wrote.

He subsequently teased the release of Fallout 76 and predicted that Starfield will go through a similar situation on its debut. As is evident, Joppsta360 hasn't played Bethesda's new title, so he just wanted to show off his troll skills.

"Starfield Super Special 76 edition includes the expected disappointment. Comes with a shot glass so you can participate in the recurring Internet Historian drinking game. Take a shot every time Todd Howard lies. Or don't, you will be dead from alcohol poisoning 5 minutes into the 20+ minute masterpiece highlighting yet another Bethesda disasterpiece," added Joppsta360.

Following the publication of this unfortunate "review," Metacritic took matters into their own hands and removed it. It is very likely that it has also made the appropriate corrections so that this situation does not happen again with Starfield or another future release.
