Kojima Productions and PlayStation Studios teamed up to make a new project a reality that will undoubtedly delight all Hideo Kojima fans. The Japanese creative is one of the most important developers in the industry, so the companies decided to tell his story.
To do so, they have been working for months on Hideo Kojima - Connecting Worlds, a documentary film that will give us a glimpse of his prolific career and promises to be a journey through the developer's creative process. The companies presented today the first trailer of this production that looks very interesting.
First trailer of Kojima documentary revealed
Kojima Productions and PlayStation Studios partnered with Filmworks to create a documentary described as captivating. The film will not only review Kojima's milestones, as it will also focus on the potential of video games as an art form.
Hideo Kojima - Connecting Worlds will feature the special participation of other very important creatives who are close to Kojima. Among them are Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus and more.
The documentary directed by Glen Milner will show us the process Kojima went through after leaving Konami and starting the adventure to open his own studio. Its initial premiere will be on June 17 at the Tribeca Film Festival.
