The rumors were true! Red Dead Redemption will be back and coming to modern platforms very soon. Rockstar confirmed this morning that it will re-release its popular game on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The title will arrive with a few tweaks and additions, but will stick to its original version.
The good news is that the title will come accompanied by its popular DLC Undead Nightmare. In addition, it will be distributed in physical and digital format on both platforms. Below, we tell you everything about its release and additions.

Red Dead Redemption will return this month
Contrary to rumors, Red Dead Redemption will not have a remaster or remake. The original title was simply ported to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in a package that includes all of its content.
Rockstar explained that the port was developed by Double Eleven Studios and will be backward compatible with PlayStation 5. This version of Red Dead Redemption will be available next August 17 in digital format. Its physical version will be released on October 13.
In terms of tweaks, the companies added new languages, including Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and Korean. Rockstar did not detail other adjustments, so apparently there are no other important new features. There is also no information about a possible PC version.
As we told you, Red Dead Redemption for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will already include Undead Nightmare. Fans will be able to add the game to their collection for $49.99 USD. Below you can watch the announcement trailer:
