Nintendo released a new financial report and reaffirmed that Switch is in the top 3 of the best-selling consoles in history. The hybrid system reached the mark of 129.53 million units sold worldwide as of June 30.
The company managed to ship another 3.91 million Switch during the last quarter, which is undoubtedly excellent news considering the years the system has been on the market. Switch is the third best-selling console in history, behind only Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2.
The handheld sold 154.02 million units, while Sony's console is in the lead with just over 155 million units sold. Rumors claim that the Switch's successor is already on its way, so it is unclear whether the hybrid system will be able to climb higher in this top.
