By Alejandro Díaz de León onNaughty Dog confirms that the game's remake is finished

Naughty Dog has confirmed via Twitter that The Last of Us Part I, the remake of the survival title with a strong narrative component that the studio released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, is already finished and ready to launch on September 2 for PlayStation 5.
But what does reaching the gold phase mean?
Having reached the Gold phase, the video game is ready to start its production chain for stores around the world on September 2, 2022, exclusively for the Sony new generation console, with a PC version in development.
Beyond the obvious visual improvements, Part I will feature several gameplay fixes to bring the original title up to modern times and promises to make the most of the unique capabilities of the DualSense, though at this time we don't know if there will be any substantive changes to the story to establish new connection points with The Last of Us Part II, the sequel that arrived on PS4 in 2020.
