In the works for quite some time, The Lord of the Rings Conquest: Reimagined is a fanmade remake of the original The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, which debuted on the video game market back in 2009.

Intending to offer new life to this virtual declension of J.R.R. Tolkien's universe, a group of fans decided to take advantage of the potential Epic Games' graphics engine provides.

Is this fanmade remake any good?

Initially started with Unreal Engine 4, the development of The Lord of the Rings Conquest: Reimagined has recently switched to Unreal Engine 5. To present the achievements of the latest iteration of the engine, the remake's author collective decided to offer the public a small taste of it.

Thanks to the release of a free Demo in UE5 of The Lord of the Rings Conquest: Reimagined, some players got to try the game out. We want to remind you that the remake will differ from the original project in several respects, thanks to the introduction of new settings and unprecedented game dynamics.
