Delays in the industry are an everyday occurrence. Sometimes, games are postponed by a few weeks or months, but there are occasions when developers take several extra years to complete their projects.
This is the case of Fabio Belsanti, an Italian creative who started developing a video game in 2002. He worked with various creatives, but the group gradually separated. Thus, he was left with the project in his hands. He decided not to give up on his dream and, after 22 years, finally released Kien, a title now available for the Game Boy Advance, the platform for which it was originally planned.

Game for GBA debuts after more than 2 decades in development
The development of Kien had to overcome many problems over the years. Belsanti said that there were financial obstacles, issues in the game's creation, promotion challenges, and other aspects that delayed its debut for a long time.
Despite this, the developer never abandoned the project and finally managed to launch it after 22 years. Interestingly, it debuted on its original platform and even had a physical release. Naturally, its story makes it a coveted title for Nintendo portable collectors.
We know that Kien is an adventure title where you can control a warrior or a priestess who will fight all kinds of creatures to save the planet Malkut. It has a graphic style that will undoubtedly fascinate GBA fans.
"On a romantic level, the idea of releasing the game on its original console is simply magical. Seeing Kien come to life on the same platform it was designed for is a dream come true," said the developer. Below you can watch a trailer for the title:
