One of the most anticipated games of this year is undoubtedly The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which is just a few weeks away. However, one fan wanted to imagine what it would be like if it were a Game Boy Color title full of animations.

The release is getting closer and closer

As you probably remember, this installment of The Legend of Zelda will arrive in mid-May and the community is still waiting, so they already want to try the new adventure of Link and Zelda.

If you are one of them and can't stand the wait, you'd better take a look at this video in which a talented fan recreated the official clips of the game but with a retro version that you'll love.

As you could see, the material was created and shared by YouTube channel Channy and Kimberly, who offered a curious version of the upcoming Nintendo game with various animations and pixelated graphics.

"Imagine you're living in a parallel retro universe, where The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally released for the Game Boy Color including an awesome Limited Edition!" reads the description of the clip.

Of course, the highly anticipated title will be coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch and will take full advantage of the hardware's full power once it's released this May 12.
