We already know that since Elon Musk took over Twitter, in addition to having a lot of controversies, he has constantly been proposing and making changes to the platform.
Musk has hinted at platform changes via his official Twitter account. What will change? The first will be the ability to switch between a timeline with recommended tweets and another with people we follow, similar to TikTok. In the next weeks, there will be a button to add a tweet to Saved from the publication details.
But this does not end there; the most significant change will come at the beginning of February. It will be then when the long tweets start to be available. With the above, the era of microblogging on Twitter could be put to an end.
TWITTER COULD HAVE TWEETS OF UP TO 4000 CHARACTERS
So far, Musk still needs to specify what the long tweets will look like. Recall that in December, it was said that the tweet limit could be increased to 1,000 characters, and later Musk confirmed that he was willing to raise it to 4,000 characters. As a point of comparison, Twitter's current limit is 280 characters per tweet.
Do you think Twitter should increase the character limit? What do you think about it? Tell us in the comments.
