VALORANT has revealed the new map in a video trailer and it will be available in Episode 6 Act 1 on January 10. In addition to the various updates it will bring in its next patch, the beloved Split map will be available in the competitive map pool and got seven changes to be brought back.

What are the new changes?

The places that were directly changed in Split were A main, A Tower, A Rafters, A Main Box, B Site, B Tower, and Mid Bottom. So that you can see the changes in Split more easily, here we will show you what these places look like now and you will be able to analyze the possible new strategies that you will apply when you play in Split.

Although it is recommended to practice in non-competitive matches or any other mode such as Deathmatch to get used to the changes. Without further ado, here are the changes!

A Main

Attackers' area widened and a small ledge was added.

A Tower

The back section of the Tower flattened.

A Rafters

The under-over area has been removed.

A Main Box

Boost box next to the orb has been reduced.

B Site

Hard corner smoothed out to make clearing the spot easier.

Now we have to wait four days so we can all enjoy this new map in our competitive games. Split was always one of the favorite maps of the community and bringing it back is possibly one of the best decisions made by Riot Games.
