Will Microsoft and Sony release enhanced versions of their consoles? This is Take-Two's opinion
By Ulises Contreras onStrauss Zelnick talked about the possibility of seeing the PS5 Pro and a revision of the Xbox Series X

During the last generation, Microsoft and Sony released revisions of their consoles: Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, respectively. Now that the Xbox Series X and PS5 are slowly approaching their third year in the market, it is time to wonder if they will receive a hardware update in the coming months or years.
Certainly, in recent months, we have seen numerous rumors that indicate the existence of supposed more powerful versions of Microsoft and Sony's next-gen platforms. At this point, there is no official information, so everything is speculation.
However, it is easy to think that more powerful models of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will hit the market at some point during the current generation. Now, Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick, shared his opinion on this topic in a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, generating further expectations.
STRAUSS ZELNICK FROM TAKE-TWO BELIEVES THAT ENHANCED VERSIONS OF PS5 AND XBOX SERIES X ARE REAL
At one point in the conversation, the executive was asked about the possibility of seeing enhanced versions of the PS5 and Xbox Series X during the current console generation, to which he responded, "We probably will." He also stated that the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro did “not affect the business very much".
Of course, Strauss Zelnick's statements do not confirm the existence of the supposed new consoles from Microsoft and Sony.
In early May, journalist and insider Tom Henderson revealed in a report that the PlayStation 5 is real and some internal Sony studios are already using the development kit. Nonetheless, we recommend approaching this information with caution and waiting for an official announcement.
But tell us, do you think enhanced versions of the PS5 and Xbox Series X are necessary? Let us know in the comments.
