We know that Netflix has not long been struggling to remain the most important streaming platform since it has other major, significant platforms competing with the service, and one of those platforms is Disney +
What seemed inevitable happened, and now Disney + is the most important streaming service, surpassing Netflix. How do we know this? It happens that recently Disney presented its most recent financial report. As you can imagine, the company talked about Disney + and its success in the most fiscal quarter.
In that same report, Disney reported that its streaming service had attracted 14.4 million new subscribers in the last three months. With this, the streaming service has more than 166.5 million users worldwide. But hey, it doesn't end here; Hulu also has 46.8 million subscribers, while ESPN+ has 23.3 million.

With all this, Disney now has 221 million subscribers between its different platforms, surpassing the 220.7 million users that Netflix has. Crazy, right?
Without a doubt, this is excellent news for Disney executives; it will be a matter of seeing how long they will stay at the top and see if Netflix can overcome them.
