In the absence of any new official information on Assassin's Creed Mirage from Ubisoft, there are insiders to update users about the series' next iteration.

Over the past few hours, in fact, well-known insider Tom Henderson has returned to talk about Assassin's Creed Mirage and, more specifically, its launch window.

When is the title coming out?

According to the words of the famous figure who has made his name on social media to the tune of anticipations and leaks, Ubisoft has reportedly postponed the game internally twice and will not be able to get it to the shelves in the timeframe originally planned, namely early 2023. According to Henderson, the game is expected to debut during August 2023, although this would be a tentative window that could change at any moment.

While there is no confirmation on the reasons for such delays, the insider speculates that the cross-gen nature of the project and the hardware limitations of older generation consoles may be one of the causes. Henderson's sources also speak of problems in developing Assassin's Creed Codename Red, the highly anticipated chapter set in Japan that may also experience an internal postponement.

In case you missed it: Rare veterans team up to release the catchier Christmas tune ever.

Despite Tom Henderson's record, we must remember that these are rumours, and before falling into depression, we must wait for official announcements from Ubisoft.
