All eyes are on PlayStation after the leak of their new portable device. Tom Henderson, the journalist who revealed the first details of the system, has now surprised with more information and revealed a possible release window.

As a reminder, this device would focus on Remote Play functionality and be compatible with PlayStation 5. It would offer streaming at 1080p and 60 fps, as well as proprietary DualSense technology. According to Henderson, the system with the code name Q Lite would arrive this year.

WHEN WILL SONY'S MYSTERIOUS PORTABLE DEVICE BE RELEASED?

Henderson bets that the Q Lite's revelation and launch will happen this year. Although he is not sure when or how it will be revealed, he bets that it will be available and in the hands of players in the latter part of this year.

Specifically, Henderson believes that the device will arrive sometime in November. Thus, its revelation could happen right in the middle of the year or a little later. Unfortunately, there is nothing certain, since Sony has not even confirmed the project.

The source revealed this new information during a recent episode of the Iron Lords Podcast (via PushSquare). However, there are no more details about this secret PlayStation project, so we will have to keep waiting to learn more about it.

Henderson previously revealed that Q Lite prototypes look very similar to a DualSense, but with an 8-inch LCD touchscreen in the center. The system would have technology from the PS5 controller, so it would offer haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
