Japanese senior citizens will be gamers thanks to Nintendo
According to details, Nintendo will send Switch units and various games from its library to various senior citizen residences in Japan. Through staff-assisted events, the senior citizens will be able to enjoy games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo Switch Sports and Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training.
Some time ago, Nintendo ran a few tests in different residences and got good results with the dynamics. So now it is looking to extend the program and bring it to 200 residences. With this, it seeks to offer seniors quality entertainment and new ways to motivate them in their free time.
Nintendo emphasized that its products are aimed at all people, regardless of their age, gender or the relationship they have had with video games. He also assured that their goal is always to offer products that make people smile.
As expected, Gakken Cocofan is more than satisfied with this initiative, as it will help its residents to have a good time, get closer to technology and keep their motor and cognitive skills active.
