Microsoft Has More Games Than Sony in the Top 25 of PlayStation Store
Today, the list of the 25 best-selling games on PlayStation Store made headlines, not for a specific game, but for the companies involved. As reported by TweakTown, Microsoft has more titles in the Top 25 on PlayStation than Sony. Although this list constantly changes due to the dynamics of the digital sector, at one point Microsoft had 7 video games among the best-sellers, while Sony had 5.

In this regard, Microsoft positioned itself on its competitor's platform with releases such as Call of Duty, now owned thanks to Activision; Overwatch 2 due to Blizzard's acquisition; Sea of Thieves by Rare, which will be their multi-platform release on April 30; Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 since Bethesda belongs to them; as well as Minecraft by Mojang and Grounded by Obsidian.

As for Sony, the Top 25 included Helldivers 2; MLB The Show 24, a title that became multi-platform in recent years by order of the Major Leagues; Destiny 2 due to Bungie's acquisition; Stellar Blade due to the publication of this Shift Up game; and Rise of the Ronin, also in the same situation but with Team Ninja.
Thus, Microsoft's greater presence of games and companies on a PlayStation sales list provides a glimpse of the changes in the industry and gradually fulfills Xbox's company objective of increasing its position in the gaming business.
