A new intriguing trailer has been revealed almost a month before the new Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet come out. The video introduces a new character and invites viewers to guess Gym Leder Iono’s partner Pokémon.

Alongside the trailer, a description reads: “Meet Iono, an influencer, streamer, and Gym Leader who specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. Can you guess Iono’s partner Pokémon?”

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the first open-world RPGs in the Pokémon series. As you enjoy the hallmarks of the series—meeting, teaming up with, battling, training, and trading Pokémon—you’ll be able to immerse yourself in a newly evolved adventure. Announced in February 2022, both titles are the first in the ninth generation of the Pokémon series and are set to be released on 18 November 2022.
