The 1.6.1 update patch for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be released today, and it includes three new tomb challenges scattered across the map full of ancient traps that players must overcome, as well as a generous selection of puzzles.

"Observe and explore the deep waters, molten lava, and Isu's teachings to solve ancient puzzles and discover lost treasures," the description says.

This new content will conclude the Tomb of the Fallen expansion, which received its first batch of content in early November of last year. However, the update also includes a new settlement building called Rune Forge. Players can convert equipment perks into runes that can be exchanged for silver here.

Finally, it has been reported that the update includes new cosmetics and a set of tattoos to commemorate the open-world stealth franchise's 15th anniversary, as well as a handful of minor fixes aimed at improving the gameplay experience.

Upon completion of each Tomb, Assassin's Creed Valhalla adventurers will be able to acquire numerous high-level equipment and, presumably, unlock new trophies and achievements.
