On behalf of Team Cherry, the studio's public relantions man, Matthew Griffin, announced that the game is not ready yet, but development is still continuing", so they made the decision to delay the project.
When will Hollow Knight: Silksong be available?
This means that the game will not be available before July 2023, as planned, but at a later, undefined date. Chances are the game could be delayed to 2024 or arrive sooner, it is not clear.
What is certain is that in Team Cherry they are "excited" by how the game is shaping up: "it's gotten quite big, so we want to take the time to make the game as good as we can", said Griffin without asking for patience, he only anticipated that the studio will talk about the game once it is closer to its undefined release date.
