After serving as a media bass drum for the rumor of cracked code for The Sims 5 within weeks of its announcement, Tom Henderson and the folks at Insider-Gaming share some critical Call of Duty Advanced Warfare 2 information.
Is this game a reality?
The great interest aroused in recent weeks by rumors about the development of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare 2 prompted Henderson to question his internal Activision sources for clarification.
Based on his contacts' indications, Henderson believes that the Advanced Warfare 2 project is still in its early stages. According to the well-known insider's anonymous sources, the Sledgehammer team will take no less than three to four years to shape the sequel to the sci-fi shooter marketed in 2014 in collaboration with High Moon Studios.

Henderson's anonymous informants said that Activision is serious about moving away from yearly Call of Duty releases, adopting an Always On model with regular distribution of post-launch updates along the lines of COD Warzone's seasonal content.
