McDonald's hints upcoming collab with Overwatch 2
By Sara Araujo onUnfortunately, it’s still unclear what this will entail

After a lightly stumbled but massive launch, Overwatch 2 has become the game of the moment. It’s only been a week since the game came out, and everyone is talking about it. This hype has led to many other announcements, including an upcoming collaboration with the fast-food giant McDonald’s. This information was initially hinted at on the official Twitter account of McDonald's Australia. The description reads: “coming soon,” and unfortunately, it doesn’t give further information on the collab.
At the time being, it's unclear if this announcement will entail an Overwatch-themed Happy Meal or if it will arrive in North America. We even passed through other Twitter accounts for McDonald's in America, and none of them have shared a teaser or anything else related to this. Even though the collab seems to be located in Australia, this announcement may entail a worldwide promo because the game has reached every corner of the globe.
If we think about it, it could be possible that Overwatch 2 brings unique in-game content through a McDonald’s order (or something related.) Is there a reason behind this hunch? Totally. In the past, Arby's locations in North America offered Shovel Knight toys with special DLC codes that replaced in-game elements with Arby's content. So, why not Overwatch 2 in-game content? Maybe a skin?
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think an Overwatch 2 collab could soon arrive at our local McDonald’s? Let us know in the comment section!
