Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched on PC in 2018. Since its release, the game had a previous peak of concurrent players at 55,000. Now it has moved to a new highest peak reached on November 27, with a total of 66,492 concurrent players.
Based on SteamDB, the title had a peak of 55.000 players on December 26, 2019. This number has been surpassed thanks to a special discount of 67 percent in Steam's autumn sale that is still current before midnight of November 30. This allowed a big wave of new players to jump into the game, making the game's traffic reach a new total of concurrent players at 66,492 on November 27.
While Rockstar is focused on GTA 6's development, Red Dead Online is considered abandoned by them. But it is still a good experience for newcomers as this new record evidences that it's a good title to play nowadays.

If you don't own the game yet and want to play it too, remember that Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
