Rockstar might not be releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S
By Alejandro Díaz de León onAccording to the same insider who said they canceled the remastering of the first title

Red Dead Redemption fans had it rough since last week. First, because of reports that Rockstar had scrapped plans to do a title remaster due to criticism of GTA The Trilogy. Then, the company released a statement on their blog explaining that they were putting more resources into GTA 6, reducing support for Red Dead Online.
According to Tez2, the insider who leaked about Rockstar's plans not to remaster Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar has no intention of releasing a native version of the game's sequel on PS5 and Xbox Series X shortly.
While this doesn't mean that Red Dead Redemption 2 will never come out on these consoles, it would almost certainly be after the release of GTA 6. The same goes for any other project that isn't the new entry on the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
