Last month the internet went nuts after God of War: Ragnarök was rated in South Korea, this gave many fans the hope of a 2022 release. You may be wondering why, well, Horizon Forbidden West and The Last of Us: Part II were both rated less than four months away from their respective releases.
Sadly this may not be the case, according to GameReactor many European sources (which are not listed) confirmed the alleged delay.
An imminent announcement?
The article says that after Sony’s State of Play presentation which only focused on third-party content and early PS VR2 games, and no PlayStation Showcase in sight on the horizon the delay may be announced during Summer Game Fest.
While this is not the first delay, we can’t hide our disappointment as the rating news gave us a glimpse of hope for a 2022 release, now we have to wait for another year.
Only the next streams will say if the rumors ended up being true. Were you excited about a possible God of War: Ragnarök 2022 release? Let us know in the comments below.
