Silent Hill returns! Konami announces surprise special event around the franchise
By Alejandro Díaz de León onThe company could announce a new franchise title at the event

Silent Hill is a franchise that marked a before and after in the Survival Horror genre since its first entry. However, unlike Resident Evil, this saga created by Konami has not had such a diverse or extensive trajectory.
Ironically, a game that never saw the light gave the franchise its last big moment of glory with this series of games. Of course, we're referring to Silent Hills and its gruesome P.T. created in collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro.
The official Konami-managed Silent Hill Twitter account was suddenly reactivated to announce a new event and share news on the franchise, which came as a complete shock for players.
The company has created a special website specifically designed to host the live stream of this event, in the same manner as when Apple announces a new conference to launch new iPhones.
According to the website, this Wednesday, October 19th, at 2:00 PM. PDT, there will be a special "broadcast" to share news about Silent Hill.
The only thing that is known so far is that the event will focus on communicating some news about this franchise that has been abandoned for years.
