If you're one of the players looking for a new proposal, we have some very good news for you, as more information and the release date of Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion, the horror title promising several scares, has just been shared.

The teams behind this installment are XSEED Games, Marvelous Europe, Marvelous, and Team GrisGris, who aim to offer a terrifying experience for consoles and PC.
Now, it has just been confirmed that this new installment of Corpse Party will arrive this year, and its first trailer has been released, so it's better to take a look and see what awaits you in this dark adventure.
Here's the first trailer:
As you could see, Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion follows three high school friends who will explore the Amare Est Vivere Hospital to test a local urban legend.
However, to the protagonists' misfortune, this legend is real, and they will unleash a decades-old curse that sends them to a dark realm. Because of this, they must avoid a chilling vengeful spirit and other horrors from the hospital's tragic past and find a way to escape unharmed.
It is worth mentioning that this installment of the classic Japanese horror saga will return better than ever, as it will allow players to explore the hospital corridors fully rendered in 3D and with the option to do so in first or third person, all through 6 chapters that can lead to different story endings.
Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, via Steam and GOG, on August 28th.
