We are some weeks away from the official inauguration of the Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood and while we have an “idea” of what could be coming thanks to its Japanese version, the Hollywood park still has many secrets we can’t wait to experience.
In case you missed it: Nintendo Switch surpasses 111 million consoles sold
In an exclusive Q&A with Comicbook.com, Universal Creative Vice-president Jon Corfino shared some details of what can we expect from this brand-new experience.
For starters, Corfino shared how the meet-and-greets with Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach will work:
“Now, I’ll point out a couple different character interactions that we have. For example, we have a Princess Peach meet and greet. We have a Mario and Luigi meet and greet. So, we have characters and they’ll come out. They’re capable of communicating with you. And guess what, since we’re in a game, they know your score. So, there’s another level of connectivity.”
As you should know, character interactions are always a big part of theme parks, people tend to attend only to snap a photo with them, so it's obvious that this meet and greets will attract a good amount of fans.
Ready for the inauguration? Remember, Super Nintendo World - Universal Studios Hollywood will open the doors to the public on February 17.
