Today is your last chance to redeem eShop cards on Wii U and 3DS
By Mary Roots onYou better take a moment to check out the console stores

Unfortunately, today is the last day for all those who still have their 3DS and Wii U to add funds through eShop cards. For the same reason, reminding you of this information before Nintendo blocks the option on both consoles is important.
As Nintendo had previously announced, it had been confirmed that today, August 29, the 3Ds and Wii U eShop would no longer allow adding balances with prepaid cards, so buying in stores for these consoles will be complicated.
Because of this, if you haven't done it yet, we remind you that it will be until 9:30 PM PT, so you still have a few hours to do it.

Fortunately for all those who need more time to add funds and get some of the good games of the Wii U and 3DS, it's not all bad news. This is because if you have a Nintendo Account linked to your Nintendo Network ID, you can still add funds from your Nintendo Switch to use on the other consoles.
Despite this, you better not leave everything to the end and take your time to visit the console stores before March 27, 2023, the date on which it will no longer be possible to make purchases in the Wii eShop U and 3DS.
